At Larvacean, we strive to process and ship your orders as quickly as possible. Because of this speed, the window for making changes is very small. Please review our policy below regarding order modifications.
1. The “Best-Effort” Window
Once an order is submitted, it is immediately sent to our fulfillment center. Cancellations and changes are NOT guaranteed. We handle all requests on a best-effort basis. Once an order status is marked as “Processing” or “Shipped,” no further changes can be made.
2. How to Submit an Urgent Request
If you realize there is a mistake, you must contact us immediately via email:
- Email: support@larvacean.com
- Subject Line: Use “URGENT: Order Cancellation [Order #]” or “URGENT: Order Change [Order #]”.
- Include: Your full name, order number, and the specific correction needed.
3. Order Cancellations
- Before Shipment: If we catch the order before it enters fulfillment, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
- After Shipment: If the order has already been handed to the carrier, we cannot cancel it. You must wait for delivery and then follow our Return & Refund Policy.
4. Order Changes (Address & Style)
- Address Changes: We can only update shipping details if the order has not been processed. We cannot reroute packages once they are in transit.
- Item Swaps: We can attempt to change a color or size if the item is in stock and not yet packed.
- Adding Items: For security reasons, we cannot add items to an existing order. Please place a separate order for additional items.
5. Refunds for Cancelled Orders
Approved cancellations are refunded to the original payment method. Funds typically appear in your account within 3–7 business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
6. Customer Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify all details before checkout. Larvacean is not responsible for:
- Orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout.
- Incorrect bag styles, colors, or quantities selected by the customer.
